Request account deletion

This page is for Bit Audio LLC accounts used by Tune.Toys, drum.garden, Riff.Radio and Bit.Audio. You can request deletion without installing an app or signing in to this website.

  1. Email hello@bit.audio from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Account and associated data deletion request”.
  2. Tell us whether you want to close your shared Bit Audio account and delete its associated data, or request removal of data from a specific app while keeping your account.
  3. We verify ownership before acting. If you no longer have access to your account email, contact us to discuss another way to verify ownership. Never send your password or a sign-in code.

Start an account-deletion request by email. If an email app does not open, send the request to hello@bit.audio using your usual email service.

This sends a request to our support team; it does not immediately delete anything. We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain the expected completion date, any verification needed and any lawful extension.

What deletion covers

For a verified request to close your shared account, we remove the account profile and sign-in access, revoke sessions and connected-service access, and process deletion of associated private cloud libraries, uploaded media and community records. Tell us about any specific published work you want removed so it can be included in the request.

The shared account is used across Bit Audio products. Closing it affects access in every connected app, including purchased or private instruments. Export work you want to keep before requesting deletion.

Uninstalling an app or signing out does not close your account. Local kits, samples, recordings, downloaded instruments and exports are separate from cloud data. Remove local data using the app’s storage controls or your device’s app-data settings. Copies already downloaded or shared with other people cannot be recalled.

Records that may need to remain

We may retain transaction and tax records where accounting law requires them, and limited security, fraud-prevention or dispute records where there is a lawful need. Deletion correspondence may be kept as evidence that the request was handled. Retained records are not used to keep your account active.

The applicable retention period depends on the record and legal obligation. In our response we explain which exceptions apply, what remains and for how long. Backup copies can remain until their scheduled replacement; we explain any additional backup-retention period applicable to your request. This page does not promise instant erasure of every backup or third-party copy.

For data processed by our service providers, the request includes the relevant provider deletion process. Data held independently by a provider you connected may also need a request to that provider.

Delete selected data without closing your account

You can also email hello@bit.audio to request deletion of selected cloud files, uploads or other associated personal data while keeping your account. Name the app and the data you want removed. The same ownership checks and lawful retention exceptions apply.

See our privacy policy for how each product handles data.
